My Story
My name if Jordan Danz. I am grateful Christ follower, Husband, and Father (and in that order). I have alway been into knives and have spend years spending tons of money supporting custom makers around the world. Almost 2 years ago I came to the realization that I had a drinking problem and my life was becoming unmanageable. I stepped into recovery and began an incredible journey.
With drinking not being an option anymore, I needed something to do. I decided to try my hand at making a knife. I made a knife that looked more like a prison shank out of an old saw blade. It was ugly and certainly nothing special, but I was hooked. Over the last several months I have taken the hobby a little more serious. Investing more time in learning and more money in better tools and materials. This hobby has kept me busy and has truly helped me stay focused on my relationship with God, my family, and my recovery. It has taught me a ton about patience as well as community.
All the money I make from these knives goes right back into materials so that I can continue learning and growing. I have zero intention of making this anything more than a hobby.
